Today, add a little fuel to the train Just record, no rush
This week on the tracks
My weekly note Write one
Today calls for a rest stop
Use one rest ticket. No penalty, no break in the record — a little flower will bloom along the track.
My little wish
No wish yet. Pick one thing you want to wait slowly for — we'll help you track it:
A growing library of 72 books — 3 age tiers × 5 categories, on its way to 180. Sources include the Newbery Medal & Honor list, Caldecott Medal & Honor list, the Carnegie Medal shortlist, the ALA Notable Children's Books list, and BookTrust / Common Core Appendix B Text Exemplars.

Every book can be listened to, in three ways:
Listen to this book — an original one-minute introduction: what the book is about, why it's worth reading, and what to think about before opening it.
Listen to a passage — only for public-domain titles (Gutenberg / original English text).
Full text — same books, links to Project Gutenberg, where the whole book is free to read.

One honest note: listening can't replace reading. Listening is for picking books and reviewing; reading is the goal. Let your child listen for one minute, then decide whether to open the book.

Finish every book in a category to light it up and unlock the next one; finished books live forever on the Honor Wall.
Tap "Read today" on a book to add it to Today's List on the home page. Tap again to cancel.
Family Contribution lists map to CASEL's three concentric circles: Care for Myself (self-management), Care for Our Home (family membership), Care for Others & Community (social awareness & relationship skills). Age tiers: 6-8 yr · 8-10 yr · 10-12 yr.Daily responsibility is logged but doesn't earn miles (this is my home, I live here); extra contribution earns miles (I did more, and that extra is seen).
